A classic New England estate on Marion's inner harbor is available for the first time since it was built in 1951. Gracious and stately, this property is reminiscent of a bygone era of slower days and easy comforts. A first floor main suite with accessible bath, joins the original 4 bedrooms on the second level (one can be used as an office). The "Summer House" is a guest cottage sited away from the main house with a yard of its own ( and a separate septic system). The large lot allows for further landscaping, gardens, parking and more. Splendid beech trees and other specimen plantings encircle the two homes in a private arc of stone walls, flower beds and spectacular ocean views. Deep shade and southwest breezes cool summer days and nights. The stone pier and dock offer deep water access and tie-ups with approximately 7' draft at low tide. What an idyllic spot for large gatherings and private meanders!
